Manama, January 4 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, paid a visit today, Tuesday, to the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force.
Upon his arrival, His Majesty the King was received by the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, Major General HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force, Lt. Col. H. His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of Defense Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and senior officers.
His Majesty was also briefed on future plans and programs to develop Bahrain Defense Force units and weapons. He praised the members of the Bahrain Defense Force for their loyalty and dedication, and thanked them for their efforts in protecting the homeland and its achievements.
His Majesty stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to spread peace and security in the region and the world, wishing the Bahrain Defense Force staff continued success and success, and the Kingdom of Bahrain further growth and prosperity.
