Manama, August 14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in the presence of a number of senior officials, at Sultan Qaboos Palace. Sakhir Palace today.
His Majesty the King reviewed many local issues and topics, especially with regard to the outstanding achievements made by the Kingdom, as a result of the continuous comprehensive development process that Bahrain is witnessing at all levels to better serve the country and citizens.
His Majesty King Hamad expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister for the tremendous efforts made by His Highness to improve the work of public institutions and government departments, in a way that effectively contributes to maximizing national gains.
His Majesty also praised the fruitful efforts made by the relevant ministries, institutions, the Jaffaria Endowments Council and those in charge of funerals (community centers) to make Ashura a success this year, stressing that this success reflects the strong social fabric, cohesion and friendliness prevailing among all Bahrainis, who are also famous for their respect for pluralism, which It has been a source of strength for the kingdom throughout its long history.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised the outstanding youth and sports achievements made by Bahraini athletes during the last period, pointing to their outstanding success in the West Asian Table Tennis Championships hosted by Jordan, and the Fifth Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey.
His Majesty stressed that the victories reflect the dedication, distinction and keenness of Bahrainis to honor their country and consolidate its leadership.
