Manama, Mar. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al-Safariyya Palace today the First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports, President of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, accompanied by members of the Board of Directors of the Public Sports Authority.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented to His Majesty the King the annual report of the General Sports Authority for the year 2023, which included the most important Bahraini sports achievements during the previous period and the current and future programs of the authority.
The report also highlighted the most important initiatives and programs launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to develop sports in the Kingdom. It also included the work plan of the General Sports Authority to embody the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khaled.
His Majesty the King thanked His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad, praising his tireless work in serving the youth and sports sector, supporting young talents, developing their skills, and raising the Kingdom’s image in the sports arena. His Majesty the King also praised the cooperation of the sports community and its support for the plans of the General Sports Authority and the BOC, wishing His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad and the Bahraini youth more success to achieve more achievements.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King for his unlimited support for the sports movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which has achieved many achievements. He expressed his pride and appreciation for the meeting during which he presented to His Majesty the King the 2023 report prepared by the Public Security Agency. He pledged to continue working to achieve more achievements to enhance the Kingdom’s position in regional, continental and international forums.
