Manama, May 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Decree No. (49) of 2023 amending some provisions of Decree No. (77) of 2007 issuing the Oil and Gas Holding Company B.S.C. Amendment of the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the company based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance and National Economy and after the approval of the Council of Ministers.
Article (1):
The decree stipulates that the term “Bapco Energy” shall replace the phrase “Oil and Gas Holding Company B.S.C.” Wherever mentioned in Decree No. (77) of 2007 issuing the incorporation of the Oil and Gas Holding Company B.S.C. Ordinances and decrees.
Article 2):
Subject to the provisions of Article (76) of the Commercial Companies Law promulgated by Legislative Decree (21) of 2001, it is authorized to amend the Articles of Association and Articles of Association of the Oil and Gas Holding Company in accordance with this decree.
The Prime Minister and the Minister – each within his jurisdiction – shall implement the provisions of this decree, and it shall come into effect immediately upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
