Manama, August 10 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed his pride in the efforts of the Bahrain team, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in making the Ashura commemoration ceremony a success.
His Majesty stressed that this religious celebration will remain one of the most prominent pillars of religious freedom and sectarian pluralism that the Kingdom of Bahrain has enjoyed over the years.
His Majesty added that the commemoration of Ashura this year was marked by the highest levels of discipline and organization, which confirms Bahrain’s spaciousness as an open and homogeneous society, and a land of brotherhood and peace.
His Majesty the King praised the tireless and integrated efforts made by government agencies, led by the Ministry of Interior and the Jaffaria Endowments Council, to commemorate Ashura.
His Majesty praised the provision of all security and community services, and the necessary care and follow-up of rituals to ensure their free and comfortable practice, praising the awareness and national responsibility that everyone demonstrated during the ceremony.
