HM King condoles with Egyptian President on Tantawy’s demise

Manama, September 21 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on the death of the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production. Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi.

His Majesty the King praised the role of the deceased in supporting the historical relations between Bahrain and Egypt and his efforts in serving his country and defending the Arab world.

His Majesty the Redeemed King prayed to the Almighty to bless the deceased with his mercy, to dwell in his vast gardens, and to inspire his family and the people of Egypt their condolences and peace.
