UAE Vice President receives Council of Representatives Speaker

Dubai, Feb. 9 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today received Speaker of Parliament Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam and his accompanying delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, which was held at the Zabeel Palace in Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and congratulated him on his election to his post, wishing him success in serving the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain and its people.

The meeting shed light on bilateral relations and their steady development at all levels under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him. He also shed light on ways to enhance joint Gulf action in the next phase to achieve the aspirations of the peoples of the region.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed the strong historical relations that bind the two brotherly countries and the joint keenness to strengthen the strategic partnership and achieve the goals of comprehensive development.

During the meeting, they reviewed developments and issues of common interest at the regional and international levels.

The Speaker of Parliament expressed Bahrain’s appreciation for the strong relations between the two countries and their continuous development in all fields.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, the Supreme Chairman of the Emirates Airlines Group, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the President of Dubai Sports.
