In his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Al-Tuwaijri praised the pioneering role of His Majesty the King in supporting humanitarian work, praising the dedication of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its noble stances on the local and international arenas.

He said that the General Assembly of ARCO decided at its forty-third session to award His Majesty the King the Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Medal of the First Class, in appreciation of Bahrain’s support for humanitarian work.

The Sudanese Red Crescent Society valued its efforts, noble message, and contributions to support humanitarian work and provide relief assistance to refugees and the afflicted to alleviate their suffering, in addition to promoting a culture of volunteer work that contributes to consolidating the values ​​of solidarity, cooperation and work.
