Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from the Shura Council Speaker, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, following the success of His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs. His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, captain of the Royal Endurance Team, won the World Endurance Championship, which is hosted by Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.
The Speaker of the Shura Council extended his sincere congratulations to His Majesty the King on this achievement, expressing his pride in the global achievement of His Highness Sheikh Nasser.
He pointed out that the outstanding achievement reflects His Majesty the King’s unlimited support for Bahraini sports, noting that it adds to Bahrain’s rich record of sporting successes, and represents an incentive for Bahraini youth to continue their excellence at the regional and global levels.
