The 32nd Arab Summit will be held on Friday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
His Majesty the King was received upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, mainly by the Deputy Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of Jeddah Governorate in Makkah Region Al Mukarramah. Director of Police and Bahraini Ambassador to the Kingdom, Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, and Saudi Royal Protocol Undersecretary.
In a statement, His Majesty the King expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for inviting him to attend the 32nd Arab Summit, appreciating the strong, well-established fraternal relations between the two kingdoms.
His Majesty the King affirmed that the convening of the Arab Summit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides an opportunity for Arab leaders to exchange views and unify coordination among them on ways to enhance joint Arab action, unify the efforts of Arab countries, and consolidate Arab solidarity in facing various challenges and providing protection. The interests and gains of the Arab countries, and strengthening the pillars of peace, security and stability in the Arab world.
King Hamad appreciated the endeavors of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to unify the Arab ranks, support Arab solidarity and serve major Arab causes, praising the prominent and pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting efforts to protect and achieve Arab national security. The aspirations of the Arab peoples for security, stability and development.
A convoy of honor was formed, led by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to accompany His Majesty King Hamad during his stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
