Manama, May 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al-Safariyya Palace today his Personal Representative and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Environment, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Majesty the King praised the role and programs of the Saudi Council of Engineers in protecting the environment and wildlife in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He praised the efforts of government agencies and their cooperation with the authority, wishing them success.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, during the meeting, which was attended by a number of senior officials, briefed His Majesty the King about the Kingdom’s plan to deal with sea level rise in the region. He expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his directives and support for the Commission’s efforts to achieve the desired goals.
