Manama, Dec. 17 (BNA): His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, said that Martyrs’ Day is a special and national occasion launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. To remember the sacrifices of fallen soldiers.
The occasion shows that Bahrain never forgets its departed soldiers, and that each one of them represents an immortal national epic that will remain engraved in the minds of every Bahraini citizen.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed that the annual Martyr’s Day provides an opportunity to shed light on the details of the courage and sacrifices made by the departed soldiers in defending the homeland and its gains.
He affirmed that Bahrain’s leadership, government and people appreciate the giving and sacrifices of the fallen soldiers and will never forget them, as they lost their lives for the sake of the Kingdom.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Muhammad Al Qasimi expressed his appreciation to all those who commemorated Martyr’s Day, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in its departed individuals.
