Manama, December 11 (BNA) The winners of the Nasser bin Hamad International Prize for Creativity were honored during a ceremony held at the American University in Bahrain.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, honored the winners of the award, which was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs.
The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser explained that the award is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support the global youth movement and provide a platform for creative youth to present their pioneering projects.
In a speech delivered at the ceremony, he said that the award revealed the potential of young people and reflected their determination, aspirations, creativity and success stories in all fields.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa congratulated all the winners, praising the efforts of the jury in evaluating the work of young people.
He also praised the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs for the organization that contributed to the success of the award.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyed also delivered a speech at the ceremony, stressing the importance of the Nasser bin Hamad International Award for Youth Creativity, which was launched for the first time in 2011.
