HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad chairs nogaholding board meeting

Manama, June 29 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, the main chairman of the company’s board of directors, praised the achievements and efforts made by the Oil and Gas Holding Company.


The new Chairman of the Board of Directors commended the ongoing oil and gas steps that reflect the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Rashid Al Maktoum received a report on the executive management that highlights new developments and progress made in strategic projects. He discussed with the members of the Board of Directors Bapco’s plan to continue the refinery’s modernization plan and expansion operations.

The latest developments in the research and exploration work carried out by Tatweer Petroleum were also presented, highlighting partnerships with international regional companies to integrate new technologies for oil exploration.


His Highness Sheikh Nasser stressed the importance of continuing efforts to raise efficiency and productivity in nogaholding companies.


During the meeting, new policies were discussed as part of the efforts exerted to follow up on the improvement and development of the company’s organizational structure.


This included the recently adopted policy for reporting violations and abuses, as part of the Chairman’s directive to establish a corporate culture that promotes integrity, sincerity and high professionalism.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser emphasized the commitment to sustainability by preserving natural resources in order to meet future needs in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
