HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman opens the 48th Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition

Manama, April 22 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, inaugurated the 48th Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition this evening. , at Bahrain National Theatre.


On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman expressed his appreciation for the honor of opening the exhibition, and his pride in the creative contributions made by the exhibition to Bahraini and resident artists, as one team Bahrain.


His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman indicated that the annual exhibition provided a long-term platform to showcase the most prominent figures in the fine arts movement in the Kingdom, its pioneers and young talents.


Then His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman toured the exhibition and viewed the galleries that include more than 100 artworks by 60 Bahraini and resident artists. The art pieces reflect different schools, artistic trends, and art forms, including paintings, video artwork, photography, and sculpture.


For her part, Her Excellency Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa expressed her gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister for sponsoring the 48th session of the Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition, noting His Highness’s support for cultural exhibitions that enhance Bahrain’s progress through the arts sector. culture regionally and globally.


Her Excellency Sheikha Mai also expressed her gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman for opening the exhibition on behalf of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The winners of the three annual awards during the exhibition were as follows: the first place was Al Dana Jaafar Al Oreibi award, the second place was Mariam Al Nuaimi, and Nouf Al Rifai came in the third place.


The Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition is one of the largest and most prominent annual art gatherings held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Over the years, it has attracted the most important artists in the Kingdom, including young artistic talents.
