Manama, May 26 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the storming and vandalism of the house of the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Khartoum, considering it a criminal act that violates the rules of law and international covenants.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s categorical position on the need to stop violence and vandalism in the Republic of Sudan, to provide full protection for the headquarters, buildings and property of diplomatic missions, and to punish the perpetrators.
He also called on all Sudanese parties to abide by the humanitarian truce and the principles of the Jeddah Declaration, to commit to protecting civilians in Sudan, to return to dialogue to end the current crisis and to meet the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people for security, stability and peace.
