Manama, September 1 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. Sheikh Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Sports Federation.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid was briefed on the plans and programs of the Bahrain Marine Sports Federation.
He praised the efforts made by the federation to develop Bahraini sports at all levels, and affirmed the support of the General Sports Authority in all endeavors to enhance the status of sport in the Kingdom.
Sheikh Khalifa highlighted BMSA’s preparations for Bahrain to host the World Sailing Championships in October and expressed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Khalid for his support of sports and competitions in Bahrain.
