Manama, March 13 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, issued the seventh resolution for the year 2018. 2022 to form a higher committee charged with organizing the school sports championship in Bahrain.
Headed by the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayad, the committee also includes the CEO of the General Authority for Public Sports Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar, the Director General of Schools Affairs Dr. Muhammad Mubarak bin Ahmed, the Secretary General of the Olympic Games Committee Faris Mustafa Al Kooheji, and Dr. Sheikh. Saqr bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Bahraini Association of Universities and Schools Sports.
The newly formed organizing committee also includes the role of rapporteur Fajr Jassim Hassan, BOC Director for International and Arab Relations.
The Committee will be responsible for handling all the procedures required to prepare for and organize the School Sports Championship in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It will also be tasked with coordinating with public and private entities to host the event and submitting a report to His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for approval.
