HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Chairs REHC High Committee Meeting

Manama, Feb. 8 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, chaired today a meeting of the Supreme Committee of the Reconstruction and Development Authority.

His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman highlighted the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop the horse racing sector in the Kingdom.

His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman expressed his gratitude to His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his sponsorship of the Crown Prince Cup 2023 and stressed that His Highness’s support is a motive to continue the advancement of the horse racing sector.

His Highness was briefed on the Authority’s organization of a series of races, including His Majesty the King’s Cup and the National Action Charter Cup. In this regard, His Highness stressed the importance of ensuring the success of the upcoming races.

His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman praised the efforts of the club’s employees in achieving the club’s development programs and goals, and noted their expertise in managing and organizing regional and international races.

His Highness stressed the importance of developing plans and strategies to support Bahraini knights, trainers and stable owners, and to implement innovative initiatives to contribute to the kingdom’s ancient equestrian heritage.

The Higher Committee for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (REHC) also reviewed several priority strategic projects and developments in the governance and sustainability of its various operations.
