Manama, May 12 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training, received Minister of Education Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi and a number of heads of private universities.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Ahlia University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Hawaj, the Managing Director of the Board of Directors and founder of the University of Applied Sciences, Professor Wahib Al-Khaja, and the President of the Bahrain University of Technology, Dr. Hassan Ali Al-Mulla.
His Highness expressed his appreciation for the role of private universities in supporting higher education and graduates in various fields.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak affirmed the government’s interest in governmental and private education and training institutions and its keenness to develop them and continue providing their services with the required quality and performing their role in the best way.
