Manama, April 13 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairman of the Committee’s Board of Trustees received Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Issa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Palestine’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Taha. Abdul Qadir.
Dr. Sheikha Rana reviewed with the envoy the brotherly Bahraini-Palestinian relations and ways to develop them in the academic and research fields, stressing the keenness of the Higher Education Council to enhance bilateral educational and research cooperation in the interest of the state. Efforts of two countries to develop education and achieve sustainable development.
Ambassador Taha Abdel Qader expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Secretary General of the Supreme Elections Committee for its interest in enhancing academic cooperation between the two countries.
