Health Minister receives Indian Ambassador

Manama, Apr. 17 (BNA): Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, received today the Indian Ambassador, Piyush Srivastava, and discussed joint cooperation between the two countries.

The CEO of Primary Health Care Centers, Dr. Lulwa Rashed Shwaiter, also attended the meeting.

The minister referred to the strong bilateral relations and steadily increasing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India, especially in the health sector.

The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation, as well as coordination to exchange experiences and enhance training. Issues related to health developments were also discussed.

The Indian ambassador stressed the partnership between the two countries, pointing to joint efforts to enhance cooperation in the fields of health and medical sciences.
