“We pride ourselves on investing in training and developing solutions for our esteemed workforce to lead the way, continuing the airline’s 70+ year legacy in aviation.”

Managers will be part of the technical management team involved in developing the department through several strategic initiatives, including carrying out major maintenance activities, improving internal capabilities, initiating digital transformation, and supporting the third party operator.

Gulf Air said it takes pride in its technical department, as the company recently completed a successful European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) audit. It has also maintained approvals from the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority for maintenance of the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, including associated engines and various components.

This will allow Gulf Air to expand its maintenance capacity to support more regional and European airlines operating to and from Bahrain International Airport.
