Hays Middle East was established in December 2005 in Dubai and has a team of over 50 employees who are now recruited for positions across the region. The team is a great mix of Hays International Transfers and locally recruited talents from around the world.
We have HTS, Executive, Perm and Contractors working with multinational corporations and local businesses in key economic sectors including financial services, tourism, technology, energy, real estate, health and education. The strong corporate position provides local expertise in Finance, HR, Information Technology and Marketing to the UAE team.
While in Dubai, the office is employed for positions across the GCC in locations such as Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. The sheer size of this region, combined with the projected population growth and GDP growth, shows the huge opportunity for Hays’ further growth in the Middle East.
Your new role:
• The researcher plays an important role in carrying out the searches by identifying, contacting and attracting candidates who fit the requirements of our clients.
• The researcher is responsible for evaluating and evaluating the candidate’s business experiences and professional competencies to determine how they relate to the client’s specific needs and ultimately will be prepared for consideration by our clients.
• The role requires a flexible and adaptable approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.
• You must be thorough, efficient, and enjoy working in a diverse and busy role.
• It is essential to have a good understanding of the business, the way it works, and the different industries in which people work.
• You must be confident and able to communicate with people in all areas of the business. This is the role of the permanent graduate.
In this role, you will be required to:
• Actively contribute to the research initiation phase by participating in client kick-off meetings with the advisor and assisting in the development of the search strategy and target list of companies
• Complete a full mapping exercise by gathering relevant information regarding appropriate industries and target companies, including identifying potential prospects, sources and managing responses
• Effectively represent the client in the market, using different recruitment methods
• Partnering with the consultant to develop and present a list of qualified candidates for each client
• Anticipate what is needed to drive the research process to closure and be prepared to provide additional information, such as relevant industry trends, market outcomes, reaction to opportunity, compensation data, etc., gained during the research
• Preparing structured information for client/meeting progress report by collaborating with the consultant
• Be aware of activities and changes in the general business environment and in the industry specifically.
• Keep team members updated accordingly
• Add to the experience of the company’s pool of candidates by identifying and continually introducing new talent to the company.
• Ensure that up-to-date, company and candidate information during the assignment is always available to colleagues
• Contribute to responses to inquiries about new business as well as business development activities.
• Preparing research reports for clients upon completion of held research assignments
