Governments of Bahrain and Jordan reach agreement on mutual recognition of vaccination against COVID-19

Manama, October 4 (BNA) Within the framework of continuous coordination and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the governments of Bahrain and Jordan reached an agreement on mutual recognition of vaccination against the Coronavirus (Covid-19). ), after official discussions, including contacts between its foreign ministries.

From October 5, under this agreement, holders of vaccination certificates will be able to travel between the two countries without the need to be quarantined upon their arrival, taking into account the precautionary measures at their destination, which are constantly updated, to ensure the safety of travelers under the current circumstances.

Vaccination certificates will be digitally identified, facilitating entry into both countries, while strengthening economic, trade and tourism links between Bahrain and Jordan.
