Berlin, Feb 3 (BUS): The official German vaccination authority recommends giving a second booster injection of Covid-19 to particularly at-risk groups.
The Standing Committee on Immunization, or STIKO, is an independent panel of experts that advises the government during a pandemic.
On Thursday, it said people over 70, people in care facilities, people with immunodeficiency and staff in medical and care facilities should all receive a second booster vaccination.
A draft resolution has been sent to the federal states for approval, so changes to the plan can still be made, reports dpa.
