Manama, February 3 (BNA) The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Minister of Defense. The commander of the Bahrain Defense Force welcomed the Israeli Minister of Defense and reviewed with him issues of common interest aimed at strengthening the foundations of peace, increasing development and supporting regional and international developments.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Bahrain Defense Force and the Israeli Ministry of Defense in the field of military cooperation that would contribute to supporting and consolidating bilateral military relations.
The agreement was signed by the Bahraini Minister of Defense Affairs and the Israeli Defense Minister.
The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Major General Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and a number of senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force.
