General Sports Authority to hold second majlis on Monday

Manama, March 6 (BNA) The General Sports Authority announced the holding of the second monthly council on Monday.

The council was first initiated by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).

Officials representing clubs and associations attend the council regularly to discuss major sporting issues, reflecting His Highness Sheikh Khalid’s open door approach to reaching out to all stakeholders and the media.

The council also provides a channel for receiving suggestions and complaints that contribute to supporting the development of sports, promoting professionalism and achieving positive results.

The agenda of the second council will also focus on key issues, including ways to convert clubs into investment companies.
