Future health services in housing projects discussed

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): The President of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received here today, in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayed. Jawad Hassan, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayyat, CEO of government hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Ansari, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Health – Major General Ibrahim Al-Nawakhda, and a number of officials.

The Chairman of the Council discussed with the Minister of Housing initiatives aimed at strengthening housing and health services provided to citizens in order to achieve the aspirations of the health sector within the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and support him. The Minister of Health emphasized the government’s directives regarding providing high-quality health services and ensuring easy access to them in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, stressing the importance of coordination with government agencies to ensure the implementation of the highest building standards.
