Alba Chairman leads delegation at ARABAL 2022

Cairo, Nov. 30 (BNA): Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aluminum Bahrain B.S.C., Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa. It was hosted by Egyptalum from November 29 to December 1, 2022 at the Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Cairo, Egypt.

Alba’s delegation consisted of Chief Executive Officer Ali Al Baqali, Chief Operating Officer Dr Abdullah Habib, Chief Marketing Officer Khalid Abdul Latif, Director of Administration Hamad Al Shaibah, Senior Manager Sourcing and Strategic Planning Mohammed Khalid, and Sales Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region Fatima Al Mahri as well. Director of Public Relations Abdullah Seyadi.

Commenting on the event, Alba’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa, said:

Ali Al Baqali, Chief Executive Officer of Alba, joined senior executives from Arab Smelters in a panel discussion on “Arab Smelter Panel – Current Challenges, Future Opportunities”, while COO Dr. Abdullah Habib participated in “Enabling Aluminum Key to Path Towards a More Sustainable Economy and a panel discussion on “Green Recovery” on November 30. Furthermore, Chief Marketing Officer, Khalid A. Latif, participates in a panel discussion on “Are VAPs – Value Added Products the Path to Better Margins?” on 01 Dec.

Since its inauguration in Kuwait in 1983, ARABAL has become an event of international renown, bringing together industry leaders from around the world to discuss current issues in the aluminum sector while exploring investment opportunities in the region. It is hosted on a rotating basis by the major aluminum producers in the region.
