London, April 20 (BNA) Fulham made an immediate return to the English Premier League after beating Preston 3-0 in the first and second places in the Premier League.
That promotion was bolstered by Aleksandar Mitrovic’s 40 goals, including two against Preston, and there are still four games remaining, The Associated Press reports.
And coach Marco Silva’s side appear poised to rise as champions, with second-placed Bournemouth nine points behind.
Fulham have been swinging back and forth from the top two divisions every season since they were promoted to the Premier League in 2018 after a four-year absence.
There will be a handful of teams based in west London in the Premier League next season, with Chelsea and Brentford also there.
