Finnish President Niinistö tests positive for coronavirus

Helsinki, April 20 (BNA): Finnish President Sauli Niinistö has contracted the coronavirus. The 73-year-old is now in temporary isolation.

Niinisto’s office announced he tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, but is doing well despite the infection.

DBA – The President now continues to work temporarily from a distance.

An official visit to Norway has been postponed on Thursday and Friday.
