Forty concepts qualify for assessment for the next phase of the Fikra competition

Manama, Jan. 13 (BNA): Forty ideas have qualified for the next stage of the fifth edition of the Government Innovation Competition (Fikra).

Among those qualified, twelve will be selected after an evaluation by a committee of specialized government officials in coordination with the concerned authorities.

An intensive training course on presentation skills will be held for qualified individuals and groups, in cooperation with the American Babson College, to prepare them to present their ideas to a committee of specialists. The course will end on January 19th.

Fikra aims to develop government work and promote a culture of creativity and innovation in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, which is based on sustainability, competitiveness and justice.

The competition promotes the importance of involving all public sector employees in the continuous development of the Kingdom.
