Manama, November 11 (BNA) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met today with a delegation of members of the US Senate and Congress as part of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dr. Sheikh Abdullah praised the historical relations and the distinguished strategic partnership that links the Kingdom of Bahrain with the friendly United States of America.
The US delegation was also briefed on the vision and efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in achieving sustainable development, combating terrorism and promoting peace and stability in the region.
For its part, the US Congress delegation praised the development witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields, praising its distinguished efforts in promoting the values of peace and coexistence at the regional and international levels.
