Foreign Minister presents Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal of Medical Merit to ambassadors

Manama, May 21 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, presented Prince Salman bin Hamad Medical Appreciation Medal to a number of ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This came in implementation of the royal order issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to all competent authorities. Handing over the medal to frontline workers from the health sector, the Bahrain Defense Force, the Ministry of Interior and all supporting agencies.

The recipients are the Ambassador of Jordan and the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Rami Wereqat, the Moroccan Ambassador, Mustafa Benkhi, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Ambassador of Kuwait, Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, an Omani deputy. Ambassador Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Balushi, in appreciation of their efforts and cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain during the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Dr. Al-Zayani congratulated the ambassadors on receiving His Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad for the medical merit, praising the joint coordination to protect the health of citizens and residents.

The ambassador also expressed his pride in receiving the medals, appreciating the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in combating the epidemic and protecting the health of citizens and residents.
