London, December 20 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani held in London today an official session of talks with the British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development Elizabeth Truss. .
Minister Truss praised the strong relations between the two friendly countries, praising the development of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
For his part, Dr. Al-Zayani congratulated Minister Truss on her appointment, wishing her success in performing her duties. He highlighted British efforts to promote peace and peaceful coexistence in the Middle East, noting the UK’s support for the Ibrahim Accords. He also affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to further enhance joint cooperation with the United Kingdom in various political, security and economic fields.
The session of the talks was attended by HE Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, and the delegation accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
