Manama, September 15 (BNA) A phone call was made between His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The two ministers discussed the strong historical relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation to achieve common interests.
The situation in Afghanistan and the efforts made to ensure its security and stability were also reviewed. They also discussed the efforts of the international community to support Afghanistan and provide humanitarian and relief assistance to it.
The two ministers also reviewed regional and international issues of common interest
