Washington, April 14 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met with the United States. US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leaf on the sidelines of his participation in the conference Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington.
The Minister of Finance and National Economy reviewed the strong historical relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, stressing the need to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation to achieve the desired goals.
