Finance Business Manager – (UAE National Only) | Job in Abu Dhabi, UAE by WFC Holding | GulfTalent

The purpose of the role:
The job holder is part of the Financial Planning team and is responsible for providing support to the Chief Financial Officer and SM – Financial Planning in making key tactical and strategic decisions by identifying problems and undertaking projects to solve the problems of the finance department

Main responsibilities
• Support in financial analysis of strategic projects across functions and special requests from SM – Financial Planning
• Support in the development of the business plan by collaborating with the HO and the Finance Department under the supervision of SM Financial Planning
• Facilitate collaboration across all departments/sections to help achieve specific business objectives
• Manage funding projects across functions, ensuring a comprehensive and integrated approach is adopted
• Undertake custom projects and assignments as required
• Challenge existing processes and ways of doing things to orchestrate changes towards more flexible financing
Job Operating Model
• Identify areas for improvement by collecting key insights and feedback on practical pain points from process owners
• Work with the Finance team to identify potential improvement opportunities to engage in, based on business impact and strategic importance
• Submit progress reports, trackers and KPIs for each project as necessary to the Chief Financial Officer
• Effective communication across all levels of the business to ensure that key stakeholders and senior stakeholders are kept informed of project progress and highlight any risks and issues to achieve project objectives

Qualifications / Education
• Degree in Business Administration/Finance with 7 years of post qualification experience
• Experience in managing project and organization skills
• Experience in organizing teams to solve problems
• Experience in project management and planning
• Certificates of communication experience, presentation, knowledge and knowledge
• Dynamic and self-driven with a strong understanding and background of business.
• Strategic thinking with a strong focus on results and high quality of work. Able to “think outside the box”.
• Very good leadership skills including people management, selection and development skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of the Arabic language.
• The ability to summarize information for different audiences.
• Able to think creatively and solve problems.
• Able to maintain a strong level of independent and objective judgment to direct customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and use large amounts of independent judgment.
• Very good presentation skills.
• Good skills in analysis, planning, forecasting, implementation and problem solving.
• Experienced in managing/working with a multicultural environment promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing in order to achieve goals and achievements.
