London, April 28 (BNA): Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has signed a two-year contract to stay at the Premier League club until 2026.
If he sees the deal announced on Thursday, Klopp will be at Liverpool for more than a decade after joining in October 2015.
Klopp’s previous contract was due to expire in 2024. The 54-year-old Klopp won the Champions League (2019) and the English Premier League (2020) in his time at Anfield, as well as the League Cup this year.
This season could be his best so far in Liverpool, who also reached the FA Cup final, are on their way to reaching the Champions League final and are vying with Manchester City for the Premier League title five games away.
