Job description and summary
A career in finance, within internal corporate services, will provide you with the opportunity to assist the PwC with all aspects of our internal financial function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and leadership assistance with overall strategy. You will focus on recording and analyzing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining ledger accounts for financial statements, and preparing analysis and billing reconciliations for fraud detection.
Our Accounts Payable and Receivable team is responsible for performing the collection and debt payment activity. You will focus on working with senior individuals to review and prepare accounts receivable and accounts payable reports that will assist PwC in achieving monthly collection targets as well as ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices.
We currently have the opportunity for a professional and ideally motivated partner with current financial experience to work in the finance function in Lebanon, supporting the Middle East region. Accounts Payable is a key team within the Finance and Accounting team at PricewaterhouseCoopers Middle East. It is located within the Common Financial Services Center that provides accounts payable activities to all territorial entities, and is tasked with maximizing the efficiency of the creditors’ function in processing and paying sellers’ accounts.
The job holder is a key member of the team, responsible for the day-to-day support and management required while providing account payable services. Responsible for performing accounting work in accordance with PwC approved accounting principles, applicable procedures, management guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the business.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for compiling, sorting and processing all invoices received to the Accounts Payable team
– Support matching invoices with LPOs / receivables and follow up on any required consultation
– Support on-time and accurate payment for sellers
Support coordination with members of the finance team to close monthly accounts and finalize monthly accounts
Prepare reports or consolidated summaries and other documents required for the position and as directed by the Accounts Payable Team Leader
– Adhere to the accounts payable policies and procedures
Act as a primary resource and liaise with other functional areas, building cross-functional relationships as needed

Minimum university education, with accounting, finance or related fields required
General experience of one or more years in finance or similar positions
Strong financial, analytical and accounting skills
– Excellent level of accuracy to a high level of detail
– Good arithmetic and analytical skills
– Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel

– Fluency in spoken and written English, fluency in Arabic will be an advantage
Good organization and office management skills to ensure workload coverage
