Export Bahrain and IEICI sign cooperation agreement

Manama, October 31 (BNA) Bahraini Minister of Industry and Trade Zayed Rashid Al-Zayani signed a memorandum of understanding between the Bahrain Export Authority and the Israeli Institute for Export and International Cooperation.

The agreement, which aims to encourage the development of trade exchange and commercial cooperation between the two countries, was signed by Safaa Sharif Abdel-Khaleq, CEO of Export Bahrain, and Nelly Shalev, CEO of IEICI.

Under this agreement, Export Bahrain and IEICI will be facilitators of commercial and economic contracts, and will act as a gateway between companies in both Bahrain and Israel, allowing new international projects to flourish through cooperation in a thriving and dynamic business environment.

The MoU will allow for the full participation of both the public and private sectors to achieve the common goal of boosting exports and enhancing mutual trade relations.

“Export Bahrain is proud to be at the heart of this strategic partnership to bring together export companies from all over Israel and Bahrain,” said Safa Sharif.

“It is an honor for us to play such a fundamental role on this great occasion.”

The IEICI said they are pleased to continue the new relationship with Bahrain and to build links throughout the Middle East.

The institute added that Israel and Bahrain will benefit from the talents and specializations of the new partners.
