Bahrain FinTech Bay and The Israel Fintech Center sign MOU.


Manama, Oct. 31 (BNA) The Bahrain Fintech Bay (BFB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tthe Israel Fintech Center to collaborate on major projects focused on advancing the financial technology industry in the region.

The cooperation will help establish international partnerships. The parties will play a constructive role in the Financial Innovation for Longevity Forum (FIAL Forum).

The memorandum of understanding was signed in Tel Aviv in the presence of Bahraini Minister of Industry Zayed bin Abdulaziz Al-Zayani, Minister of Commerce and Tourism, Bahrain’s ambassador to Israel, Khaled Yousef Al-Jalahma, CEO of Bahrain Bay FinTech Bader Sater, and head of the Israeli FinTech Center. “Our cross-border cooperation will provide advanced solutions for SMEs and facilitate interactions between Bahraini and Israeli financial institutions,” Bader Sater said.

“We look forward to enhancing our synergies and sharing best practices on regulation and the latest developments across many emerging technologies, including Open Banking, Blockchain, and Payments, among others.”
