Artificial turf installed at Bahrain and Al Dair clubs

Manama, May 25 (BNA) New artificial turf has been installed in Bahrain’s stadiums and clubs as part of a strategy to develop sports and youth infrastructure.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has developed a plan to equip the stadiums of five clubs and national centers with artificial turf.

The stadiums were handed over after renovation in the presence of officials representing the Ministry, the General Sports Authority, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Club, Dr. Abdul Rahman Rashid Al-Khashram, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Deir Club Ali Issa Al-Madhi.

His Majesty, the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, directed to raise the level of stadiums.

The stadium renovation project is in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of SCYS and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
