Emirates doubles weekly flights to Algeria

Dubai, April 21 (BNA) Emirates Airlines said that it will double its flights between Algeria and Dubai from two to four flights per week, starting from the first of next May.

The current service between Algeria and Dubai will no longer be connected to Tunisia, providing more flexibility and convenience for travel to Dubai and beyond to Emirates’ extensive network of more than 130 destinations.

Emirates will use its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft between Algeria and Dubai, and the new flights will operate on Saturday and Sunday, in addition to services on the current Tuesday and Thursday.

“We have seen a noticeable increase in passenger demand to and from Algeria, especially to Dubai and beyond to other destinations that are gradually opening or easing their restrictions across our network,” said Omar Al-Hamiri, Director of Algeria.

“We hope that by increasing the frequency of our flights to Algeria, we will be able to support traffic flows in and out of the country while continuing the economic recovery after the pandemic, and this is also a testament to our commitment to Algeria.”

He added that Emirates Airlines has been operating flights for nearly 10 years and connects Algerians to the world.

“We look forward to further enhancing our services in the future to provide better travel options for our customers as they soar again.”
