Elections proceeding smoothly in Sitra polling station

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Sitra polling center witnessed a large turnout by voters who flocked to cast their votes in the run-off of the 2022 parliamentary and municipal elections.


And the crowd began to gather before eight o’clock in the morning scheduled for the opening, although voters have until eight o’clock in the evening to vote for the candidates who will represent them in the House of Representatives and municipal councils.


The head of the committee, Judge Hassan Ali Khamis, said, “The large number of voters who come to the center since eight o’clock in the morning reflects a real keenness to exercise their constitutional right.”


Their position also reflects a great awareness of the importance of their national and political role in promoting the success of the comprehensive development process in Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King and with the participation of all sectors and institutions. There is a deep commitment to consolidating the democratic achievements made since 2002.”


The judge praised everyone who participated in ensuring the smooth, easy and successful elections.


He said, “Everything here is free from defects, and no one has reported any violation or violation, whether they are voters, candidates or organizers.”
