Education Ministry postpones National Action Charter ceremony in solidarity with quake-hit Syria, Türkiye

Manama, Feb. 11 (BNA): Based on the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Ministry of Education decided to postpone the ceremony that was to be held at the National Action Charter monument on the occasion of the anniversary of the National Action Charter.

The move comes in solidarity with the brotherly Syrian and Turkish peoples, in light of the conditions they are going through as a result of the deadly earthquake that struck parts of their country.

It also supports the ongoing rescue and relief efforts, in which a working team from the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defense Force participates, in addition to the national fundraising campaign implemented by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation to support those affected. The Ministry of Education said in a statement that the earthquake struck both countries.
