Government Hospitals, Bahrain Sickle Cell Society discuss cooperation

Manama, Feb. 11 (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of government hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ansari, affirmed the great interest of the Kingdom of Bahrain in improving the quality of health services provided to citizens and residents.


This came during Dr. Al-Ansari’s speech while receiving the head of the Bahraini Sickle Cell Society, Zakaria Ibrahim Al-Kadhim.


He praised the prominent role played by the Bahrain Sickle Cell Society in serving sickle cell patients in Bahrain.


He expressed his thanks to the association for the tremendous efforts it is making to support joint work, stressing the keenness of government hospitals to provide them with the necessary facilities to carry out their duties to the fullest.


During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation to better serve patients.


Zakaria Al-Kadhim expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Al-Ansari and employees of government hospitals for their keen interest in developing services provided to sickle cell patients.
