Deputy Prime Minister praises Bahrain Engineers Society efforts

Manama, June 26 (BNA) The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Society of Engineers and the President of the Society, met Dr. Raeda Al-Alawi.



The meeting came on the occasion of the selection of the newly appointed engineer, Raeda Al-Alawi, as the first woman to head the association since its founding in 1972, in addition to integrating youth energies into society.



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa praised the contributions of Bahraini engineers, their active role and participation in the construction and industrial development witnessed by the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty the King, and the support and interest of His Highness. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.



“The solidarity of Bahraini engineers and their continuous quest to work in a way that preserves the reputation and prestige of the engineering sector through the Bahrain Society of Engineers had a good impact in setting the controls and ethics necessary to exercise responsibility professionally and provide a good model,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
