Deputy Chief of Public Security leads Bahrain’s delegation to UNCOPS

New York, September 3 (BNA) Deputy Chief of Public Security Major General Dr. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the United Nations Police Chiefs Summit.

Ambassador Jamal Al Ruwaie, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, attended the ceremony, which was held here from August 31 to September 1.

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance global security cooperation to face the increasing international security challenges and achieve security and peace for all. He stressed the importance of continuing efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination through the exchange of expertise and experience in the field of combating terrorism and organized crime.

The summit reviewed the latest trends in global peace and security, as well as the contributions of the United Nations police to international security efforts.
